My husband, Andy and I met on www.farmersonly.com... haha just kidding our story is even better than that. In the fall of 2008 I headed off to Southern Utah University with my best friend, we had made the dance team together and couldn't wait to chase boys and live the college dream. Well the night before my FIRST DAY of college I met Andy. His cousin was on the dance team with me and I knew the minute I saw him it was over. I left his house after only briefly chatting with him and immediately starting calling him my future husband (stalker status) haha We started texting that night and were inseparable after that. We got engaged in November and married in March, just 7 months after we met!! We laugh ALL the time about how little we knew each other and how fast we jumped into things but WE JUST KNEW. He is my favorite person on planet earth, and over the last 11 years we have created 4 of the cutest monsters ever.
I have always been interested in photography but was just didn't know where to start, until in 2018 I came across a online photography course (thanks Amy and Jordan). I jumped in both feet and because obsessed. I photographed anyone who would let me and bought so many more courses, a new camera and lens and stumbled my way into an associate photographer position with the amazing Photography by Tasha Rose. I worked for Tasha as a wedding photographer for over a year and shot SO many weddings, learned all the ins and outs of directing a wedding day crowd, shooting in all kinds of light, using flash for receptions and on and on. During this time I kept feeling like I should try video, so many prompting and I finally decided to go for it during the corona pandemic as a way to distract myself from the crazy world. It worked! I fell in LOVE with video as an entirely new and bigger way to tell the story of the best day of your life.
